Armed with experience of working with several Fortune 5 to 500 companies like Google, Oracle, Informatica, Cisco, Visa, McKesson, Model N and CA Technologies, Punita has helped transform corporate cultures to one of collaboration and creativity.
Driving Strategic & Business agility, driving operational effectiveness and efficiency by bringing clarity to ambitious situations and successfully delivering faltering products to the market is her strength.
One of her ambitious initiatives is application of Scrum to Professional services, Marketing and Support functions. Additionally, she has taken Scrum to supply chain, real estate, non-profits, finance, electronic design automation, medical device companies and revenue management.
Her vision is to expand the horizon of Scrum and push its shift into non-software functions and industries.
Co-Founder and CFO of ApexOrion, Rekha Dave has been a finance professional for more than 28 years, specializing in mergers and acquisitions.
Meticulous and with a strong belief in pragmatic optimism, Rekha embraces a hands-on leadership style, focusing on mentorship, training and communication.
Her first experience with Agile was revolutionary and opened her eyes to a practice oriented around people and communication – the most promising and fallible parts of any system.
She inspired Scrum adoption in her team. Her company later decided to utilize Scrum and expand its purview to the entire organization, not just their Finance business unit.
Applying Agile principles across non-software departments has its challenges but it is more rewarding and effective than anything Rekha has seen.
Rekha’s vision is to eliminate wasteful financial patterns in the system by adopting Agile.
